Ballyknockan LOL 1057

This lodge has its own Orange Hall in the townland of Ballyknockan from which it derives its title. The Warrant originates from Co Londonderry and first issued in 1829 to Dr Samuel Logue. An interesting fact arising from archives is that the Warrant was issued to a Mr Alexander Bell in 1875 at the same time as LOL 1037, presumably to the same person. Both Warrants were re-issued on the same date, 13 November 1893, LOL 1057 to Mr Sam McKee and LOL 1037 to Mr Andrew Dickson.
