Orange Foundation

In 1996 the Orange Home was sold and funds were placed into the Orange Foundation, a private charitable foundation.
We distribute a percent of the net asset value each year to mainly nationally qualified charities as defined by the I.R.S.

In 1997, the board established a college scholarship program; to benefit the members of the men's and ladies lodges, their children and/or grandchildren. Included are the children and/or grandchildren of deceased members who were in good standing at the time of their passing.
To date $15,000 has been awarded as scholarship aid to children or grandchildren of Orangemen and Orangewomen.

This posting helps to meet the I.R.S. requirement that notification of availability of scholarship is made to all members in good standing and their families. It is imperative that the Grand Lodge has up-to-date information on every member and that this list is current to provide benefit to you, your children and/or grandchildren.

Higher education has become a necessity in today's world; and it is expensive.
The Board would like to broaden the program to extend greater help to the USA's Orange family.
You can help by being sure that your local lodge secretary has your correct address so that you will receive notification of the availability of the scholarship.
Also, we invite you to help us in this effort by sending your tax-deductible gift to the ORANGE FOUNDATION - SCHOLARSHIP FUND, perhaps in memory of a loved one or in celebration of a life event. Any amount will be welcome and will be awarded anually, not becoming a part of the endowment. And, spread the word - you may know of children or grandchildren of deceased members who may be eligible for these awards.
Please help us improve, expand, and increase the awards in this fine program.
