City of Belfast Grand Black Chapter Demonstration Booklet launch2010 On the 28th May 2010 in Belfast Orange Hall, Clifton Street the City of Belfast Grand Black Chapter Demonstration booklet for 2010 was launched. The inaugural booklet was presented by the Demonstration Booklet Convenor, Sir Knight Ed Spence PM, to the City Grand Master Rt Wor Sir Knight William Mawhinney. During the launch four cheques totalling £1100 were presented to Charities and for Christian Outreach work on behalf of the City Grand Chapter. The presentation to Great Victoria Street Presbyterian Church arose from the recent visit by the City Grand Chapter to the Church for a Mission Statement Praise Service. It is hoped that the donation will assist with the Christian Outreach work being undertaken by the Church. The first cheque for £200 was presented to Belfast Orange Widows Fund by Sir Knight Steven Gallagher PDM and was received by the Chairman of the Fund Wor Bro Nigel McCrum. The second cheque for £200 was presented to Lord Enniskillen Orange Orphans Society by the Deputy City Grand Master, Wor Sir Knight Alexander Brewster, and was received by Wor Bro Mervyn Bishop. The third cheque for £450 was presented to the City of Belfast Black Benevolent Fund by Sir Knight Andrew Johnston PDM and was received by the Chairman of the Fund Sir Knight Alan McIntosh. The fourth cheque for £250 was presented to Great Victoria Street Presbyterian Church by Wor Sir Knight Rev William Hoey PDM and was received by a member of the Church Sir Knight William Elliott.
